SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index (SHCNSI) was 84.32 points (3,647 yuan) on June 9, 2025, down 0.14 point (6 yuan) from the previous trading day. Details are as below:

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,133 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 7 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,523 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 4 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,249 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 4 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 3,738 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 3 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an rose by 20 yuan to 2,900-2,910 yuan/t on June 9. Spot resources were priced 2,970 yuan/t amid sluggish transactions. In the short term, billet market prices are expected to show a volatile trend.
